Below is a list of the range of drinks and prices for you to choose from to accompany your menu selection.

Champagne

I. Delamotte Brut NV - £27.50

  • 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier.This has enticing freshness, perfectly balanced acidity and an underlying richness that results in this wine punching well above its weight.

J. Laurent Perrier NV - £39.00

  • 45% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier. The nose is fresh and delicate, showing good complexity with its hints of citrus and white fruit. Perfectly balanced, with crisp flavours and finesse.

K. Corney & Barrow Sparkling Blanc de Blancs NV - £16.95

  • A blend of Ugni Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Colombard. Made in the traditional method this is a rather stylish, crisp wine.

White wine

L. Domaine les Escasses 2005, Côtes de Gascogne - £11.50

  • A blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Listan from Gascony in the South of France. Fresh with delicate floral notes.

M. Ganadero 2004, Rueda, Spain - £12.50

  • Mainly from the Verdejo grape with a small amount of Viura. The vineyards here are 700 metres above sea level and the altitude makes for a very full, fresh stone fruit character.

N. Pinot Grigio 'Luna' 2005, Cecilia Beretta - £15.25

  • From Veneto in North East Italy. Pinot Grigio continues to be a very popular wine and with this example from Cecilia Beretta it is not hard to see why. Light and crisp with almonds and exotic fruit on the finish.

O. Macon Solutré 2005, Maison Auvigue - £17.00

  • The name Solutré is taken from the large rock that dominates the Mâcconais landscape. This is ideal Chardonnay country and this wine shows soft exotic fruit with attractive citrus notes.

P. Lofthouse Sauvignon Blanc 2006, Marlborough, New Zealand - £18.75

  • Originally started by British couple Rod and Di Lofthouse who fell in love with New Zealand this is now in the hands of the family firm Giesen. The wine is a firm favourite with bright, vivid gooseberry and passion fruit, with nettle and leafy notes.

Q. Chablis 2005, Domaine Servin - £22.50

  • This is a family run estate that has enjoyed over seven generations of winemaking. The 35 year old vines add complexity to this fine racy wine with hints of tropical fruit and citrus notes.

R. Sancerre Domaine du Nozay 2005, Philippe de Benoist - £23.50

  • The wines are organically farmed due in part to Philippe's son, Cyril's influence. Fresh, bright and vivacious, this presents a characterful blend of floral notes and almond.

Red wines

S. Domaine de Saissac Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, Vin de Pays - £11.50

  • Grown on rich, alluvial clay-sand this makes for early drinking charm. It represents tremendous value with surprising ripe, bright, berried fruit given added depth with a light-handed touch of oak.

T. Cranswick Smith Bin 19 Shiraz-Merlot 2004, South East Australia - £12.50

  • The Shiraz is fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and the Merlot is fermented in old oak casks. The resulting wine shows bright, peppery ripe fruit complemented by a heady dash of spice.

U. Valpolicella Classico Superior 2005, Pasqua - £13.95

  • Pasqua is an enormous company these days with emphasis on bulk wine however they jealously guard 61 hectares of their own vineyards to produce their top ranges which includes this fun, easy-drinking, vibrantly fruited Valpolicella.

V. Pinot Noir les Salices 2005, Vin de Pays d'Oc - £14.75

  • This is a lovely wine with red berries and pink peppercorns that make for a delicious, easy-drinking glassful.

W. Araucano Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, J&F Lurton, Chile - £16.00

  • Here we have the Lurton brothers again who have made a considerable investment in Chile. this wine offers plump, supple blueberry and plum fruits. Ripe, smooth tannins and subtle oak provide the structure.

X. Château Bel Air 2003, Graves de Vayres - £16.25

  • Owned by Philippe Serey-Eiffel, the great great grandson of the engineer of the Eiffel Tower. This offers very fresh, pure fruit on the nose. The palate is luscious and sappy with a real freshness.
